Studies have shown that up to 80% of sex addicts experienced traumatic events in childhood. As this disease advances the brain responds by producing endorphis whenever there is sexual activity. As the addiction increases so will the neural responses to sex which can be as powerful and as addictive as narcotics. The sex addictive in essence has its own chemical factory creating feel good sensations whenever they engage in their addictive behavior.
