On-Line Therapy

  The pandemic created a paradigm shift that has resulted in a transformation in the way we do many activities. We have been pushed to  approach our life activities differently and this includes psychotherapy sessions. At first there may be resistance or an awkwardness with doing therapy on line but now many of us feel that there are some definite advantages. Some beneficial aspects are flexibility of scheduling, saving time in regards to commuting, potentially feeling more comfortable in your home which could enhance the ability to be more transparent. When it comes to discussing matters that are personal some clients feel more comfortable with remote sessions. The potential disadvantages of remote sessions are the possibility of technical problems and disconnection.
